Day 1

Delhi - Almora (Approx 282 Kms)

Drive ex Delhi to Almora. On arrival in late afternoon, enjoy hot lunch which will be served after the welcome drinks. Rest of the day is free for leisure. In the evening, we will have a small introduction session by our experts and professionals in the field of mountain bicycling. An overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2

Almora - Bageshwar - Baijnath ( Approx 23 Kms)

In the morning after breakfast, we will leave for Bageshwar 1965 M., which is about 30 Km from Almora. It has a dense cover of Deodar trees (a vanishing species of Himalayas Flora) and has one of the oldest Jungles with some trees as old as 300 Yr. old. This is a fairly even stretch along the Gomati River. Further, we will move to Baijnath, which is famous for a group of ancient temples and the Shakti temples of Kot (Lord Shiva-The Destroyer) and is 10 Km away. The forests are interspersed with ancient Shiva temples, unrivalled for its location. Enjoy a night stay in camp at the riverside. l

Day 3

Baijnath - Kausani (Approx 17 Kms)

After breakfast in the morning, we will proceed from from Baijnath to Kausani. It will be fairly an uphill track to Kausani, with panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks, seen from the wide green valley of Katyiar. Kausani is 40 Kms away from Almora and offers a 350 kms stretch view of the High Himalayas. An overnight stay in the camp.

Day 4

Kausani - Someshwar (Approx 12 Kms/Binta 15 Kms)

Today, we will head from Kausani to Someshwar, which is all downhill to the tiny hamlet of Binta in the middle of the Valley. Take pleasure of a relaxing overnight stay in the Guesthouse in Someshwar.

Day 5

Binta - Ranikhet (Approx 23 Kms)

In the morning after breakfast, we will leave for trekking on a steep track, leading to Ranikhet (the Queens Garden). In recent years, her highness was so impressed with the sight that she declared this little town as her own. A small cantonment area garrisoned with the Kumaon Regimental centre with their history of Valour Triumphs, Ranikhet is also famous for the Botanical gardens of Chaubatia and the fruit orchards, the Hariakhan and the Kalika Temple. Enjoy an overnight stay in hotel/guest house.

Day 6

Ranikhet - Bhatrajkhan

The day is free for relaxation and exploring the area. One can walk to Rakcham village (the signature walk of the valley) or ride to Chitkul, the last border village (20 kms one way). An overnight stay in tent in Sangla.

Day 7

Bhatrajkhan - Garija (Approx 63 Kms)

After breakfast in the morning, we will explore the freewheel down the wilderness of the Corbett National Park along the Kosi River. An overnight in the Jungle resort Corbett park.

Day 8

Corbett - Kotabag (Approx 23 Kms)

Today, we will enjoy an early morning elephant safari into the forest of Jin Corbett. Post breakfast, we will cycle to Kotabagh through the dense jungles. Kotabagh is the small village located on the foothills of Nainital. Enjoy an overnight stay in the jungle resort.

Day 9

Kotabag - Kaladungi (Approx 15 Kms)

In the morning, we will visit Kaladungi,A small village which has the Corbett museum and the house, once residence of Lt Col. Jim Corbett. Overnight in the farm house.

Day 10

Kaladungi - Chorgalia (Approx 30 Kms)

Today, we will walk through the Gujjar villages situated amidst the thick jungles, once the reign of the Famous Dacoit Sultana, giving the place its name. Thereafter, leave for Delhi after late lunch by car.
