Day 1

New Jalpaiguri Junction Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport – Darjeeling (About 75 Kilometre / 3 hours)

On arrival at New Jalpaiguri Junction Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport, you will travel by car across the tea plantations and zig and zag roads to reach Darjeeling, a scenic hill station of West Bengal famed for its tea plantation, monasteries and toy train. On arrival at Darjeeling, you will be transferred to a hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Evening will be free for leisure, you can explore market to pick some flavoursome tea and artefacts.

Day 2

Darjeeling Sightseeing

Early morning, you will drive to Tiger Hill (8,400 feet), from where you can watch the stunning sun rising above the horizon over the Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 feet), world's third largest peak. On your way back from Tiger Hill, you will be visiting other attractions of Darjeeling like Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway and Japanese Temple. The evening will be free for leisure. Also, you may go shopping and pick some tea and Tibetan artefacts. Dinner and overnight stay at Darjeeling hotel.

Day 3

Darjeeling – Pelling (80 kilometres / 4 hours)

This morning, after breakfast, embark on a smooth four hour drive through the zigzag trails to reach Pelling. During the journey, you will stop at Singla Check post to behold the most stunning view of Kanchenjunga. After a four hour hectic ride, check in the Pelling hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

Pelling Sightseeing

The fourth day is going to be particularly scenic as you will be going for city sightseeing tour. Today, in the first half, you will be visiting Darap village, Rimbi water Falls, Khecheopalri Lake and Khangchendzongha waterfalls. At the Darpa village you will get a chance to explore local culture and meet and greet people of Bhutias, Chettris, Tamangs, Rais, Gurungs and Lepchas community. To witness the greet symbiosis of sound and sight, you should visit Khangchendzongha waterfalls. For lunch, you will enjoy a stop at some good restaurant. In the second half of the day, you will be visiting Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, New Helipad Ground. Stay and dinner at the Pelling hotel.

Day 5

Pelling – Gangtok (150 kilometres / 5 hours) via Chardham

Post breakfast, you will hop in the four-wheeler, which will take you to Gangtok (5,500 ft.), the capital of Sikkim. On your way to Gangtok, you will pass through some attractions of Namchi i.e. Temi Tea Garden, Samdruptse & Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham). In Siddheshwar Dham, you can see miniatures of the Indian Char Dhams located in India i.e. Jagannath Dham in East, Dwarka Dham in West, Badrinath Dham in north and Rameshwaram in South. It also has 108 feet. Statue of Lord Shiva enclosed by the 12 'Lingas', a temple of Shirdi Sai Baba and an effigy of Lord Kirateshwara. On arrival at Gangtok, you will check in a hotel, for overnight stay and dinner.

Day 6

Gangtok Local Sightseeing

In the morning, after breakfast, you will be visiting Gangtok (5,500 feet), Sikkim's modern capital. On arrival at Gangtok, check-in to the hotel. As per the itinerary, today you will be visiting Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-dul Chorten, Enchey Monastery & Banjakhri Falls. View of the mighty Kanchenjunga from the Tashi View Point is something you will not forget throughout your life. From Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, shopaholics can pick some carpets, traditional motifs, blankets, shawls (in Lepcha weaves), 'thangka' paintings, graceful 'Choktse' (hand carved foldable tables), hand-painted masks, dolls and many other objects. After a hectic day, return to the hotel with your heavy shopping baggage for dinner and stay.

Day 7

Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

After breakfast, you will visit Tsomgo Lake (12,400 feet), a high-altitude lake that is sacred to both Hindus and Buddhist. According to the legends, Buddhist used to monks study the colour of lake's water to predict the future. Thereupon, you visit the Baba Mandir, which is approximately 55 km from Gangtok.

Later continue to drive to Gangtok hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

P.S.: In the case of a landslide, Tsomgo Lake will remain closed, but a visit to the alternate place will be provided.

Day 8

Gangtok – Kalimpong (75 kilometres / 3 hours) Sightseeing

Early morning, after breakfast, you will be boarding your jeep, which will take you Kalimpong. On arrival at Kalimpong, you will be transfered to a hotel and then after lunch, go for the city sightseeing tour. First, you will head to Mangal Dham, a memorial dedicated to Lord Krishna spread over an area of 2 acres. After a relaxing walk, head to Dr Graham's Home, Golf Garden, Durpin Dara Hill and Pine View Nursery. After a hectic day, go back to your to relax and enjoy dinner.

Day 9

Kalimpong – NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport (75 kilometres/ 3 hours)

After breakfast drive to Bagdogra Airport or NJP railway station for reaching your onward destination.
